CORE was awarded the remediation portion of the construction of the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  CORE will be working with Mascaro Construction, the General Contractor for the project.

This project has been in development with IUP since 1999 and has received funding from the past and current Governor.  The project will extend for 3- 4 years with the initial project kickoff beginning the upcoming holiday break at IUP.

CORE's portion of the project is approximately $1.5 million and includes the following services:

• health & safety emergency response procedures
• chemical sampling and analysis
• removal and disposal of contaminated soils and groundwater
• underground storage tank removal
• extraction well installation
• well abandonment
