Nick is originally from Cincinnati, OH where he received his B.S. in Biology/Environmental Science from the University of Cincinnati. Nick moved to Richmond, KY where he received his M.S. in Biology from Eastern Kentucky University and studied aquatic macroinvertebrate community responses to a headwater valley stream restoration. He then spent some time as a forestry aid for the USDA Forest Service in KY before moving to Morgantown to work as the project manager for an environmental nonprofit where he assessed various contaminant sources and oversaw the installation of acid mine drainage remediation projects and other restoration projects. Nick has been with CORE since 2017.
